In Recovery
In Recovery began from memories of growing up in the seventies and being surrounded by furniture from the fifties and sixties.
The feel of the well worn and loved gloss black vinyl of my grandfathers swivel armchair, and memories of lunches sitting at my other grandfathers kitchen table with the chrome studded edge and sparkly laminate top.
This was the furniture that was passed down to me, built to last and to pass on to another generation. Chairs made from hardwood and screwed together, not the softwood and staples of our mass produced era. I began collecting neglected pieces in the mid 1990's, learnt how to upholster furniture as a trade and went on from there. At In Recovery provide full furniture restoration services
