Classic Restoration
At In Recovery we love to see the potential in second hand or abandoned pieces that date from the 1980’s and back in time. So we are always looking out for a treasure to restore and bring back to the pride of place in the home they had in their beginnings.
We repair chair frames, sand away years of stain and paint and bring back the timber to it’s original natural state with a coat of non-toxic beeswax. The fabrics chosen for each piece are based on the style and era of the chair with the aim of keeping that vintage look but still fit into any contemporary home. Our fabric is sourced from ‘Warwick Fabrics’, ‘Wortley Group’, ‘Sparkk’ and ‘Signature Prints’.
We have a stock of armchairs, dining chairs and stools waiting to be restored and to find a new home. We are also happy to renew and reupholster any treasured pieces you may have that deserve a chance to be enjoyed for decades to come.
